About NHO DANCE

Ever since its inception, New Hope Oahu has been committed to “redeeming the arts” for Christ. Creativity is a gift from the Creator, and the first attribute we learn about Him in the very first verse of the Bible: “In the beginning, God CREATED…” At New Hope, we seek to use this gift to draw attention the One who gave it, sharing the message of the gospel in creative ways to impact and transform lives.

NHO Dance seeks to redeem the art of dance for Christ by developing the whole dancer, body, mind and spirit, beginning with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, spiritual discipleship and accountability, and training in dance.

NHO Dance accomplishes its mission by:

(1) Building a core team of skilled dancers committed to Christ, who share the message of the Gospel through dance wherever there is opportunity. Places they have ministered: NHO weekend services, partner churches in Hawaii and abroad, community events, care homes and shelters, conferences, concerts with Christian artists, and more…
